Nima Javanbakht
Region 7 YP Coordinator
Nima Javanbakht (Member, IEEE) is a senior RF engineer with Sanmina corporation and adjunct professor at Carleton university since 2021. He is a passionate volunteer and has been volunteering with IEEE for several years in different capacities. Nima is currently the Chair of Region 7 Young Professionals, and committee member in YP ComSoc, YP MTTS, and IEEE Entrepreneurship.
Nima received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada, in 2021. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 technical papers. His research interests include antennas, wireless communications, miniaturized antenna, integrated RF module, frequency synthesizer, optical pluggable modules, and microwave sensors.
