"AI Demystified: Foundations, Applications, and the Future of Smart Energy Management"
Artificial Intelligence is transforming how organizations operate, make decisions, and manage critical infrastructure. This session provides a practical introduction to AI, covering its evolution from traditional machine learning to Generative AI and emerging Agentic AI. Participants will gain an understanding of different AI models, their capabilities, limitations, and real-world applications.
The session then explores how AI is reshaping Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS/PMS).
Learning Outcomes:
– Understand the evolution of AI and differentiate between Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
– Identify major AI models, their capabilities, limitations, and common business applications.
– Recognize how AI is transforming EPMS/PMS.
