Electrical Engineering Week with Young Professionals at Federal University of Amazonas

General Objective of Workshop
We are pleased to invite all first-year students in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering to our welcome session on March 9, 2026.
This event will be an opportunity to introduce the programs, the university, and the various projects and initiatives you can get involved in throughout your academic journey. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with IEEE leaders, industry professionals, and academics in an informal setting, learning more about the opportunities and benefits of the IEEE community.
In addition, the event will provide a valuable moment to build connections, expand professional networks, exchange ideas, and explore future collaborations, fostering interaction with industry leaders and Young Professionals.
Specific Objectives

Engage 50 participants in activities that foster the exchange of experiences and best practices in engineering.

Present recent research and innovative solutions driving the field.

Promote networking among students, young professionals, and industry/academic leaders to strengthen collaboration in the sector.
–
Drive membership up of young professionals and students to the IEEE and in particular to the CSS, IES and RAS by increasing the network of the new Joint IEEE CSS, IES and RAS Chapter.
