The webinar aims to:
1. Increase awareness of IEEE SIGHT (Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology) and its role in using technology to address community challenges.
2. Educate participants on the benefits and opportunities available through IEEE SIGHT membership.
3. Provide guidance to SIGHT Student Branch Affinity Groups that have recently been established or are seeking direction on their next steps.
4. Showcase opportunities for humanitarian technology projects, funding, networking, and leadership development.
5. Encourage students, professionals, and non-IEEE members to participate in IEEE SIGHT activities and initiatives.
6. Strengthen collaboration between IEEE volunteers, professionals, and students involved in humanitarian technology.
