  Networking, often overlooked by Young Professionals, is a huge part of your development. Opportunities, learning and connections make anything possible. Keep an eye out for conferences near you, by checking with your Local Young Professionals Affinity Group.

The 2014 IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC) was recently held in Silicon Valley, California. Attracting 290+ attendees from 38 countries, this 4th annual cross-discipline conference covered topics from energy, health, disasters, communication and other humanitarian opportunities.

The IEEE Toronto Young Professionals group recently held a Technical Entrepreneurship Mini-Conference on 25 October. Kickstarting the global entrepreneurship program for IEEE Young Professionals, it attracted over 100 participants and featured keynotes, panel discussions, networking and workshops.
