Become an IEEE Senior Member today!

  See if you qualify to become an IEEE Senior Member. Senior member is the highest grade for which IEEE members can apply. IEEE members can self-nominate, or be nominated, for Senior Member grade. You must have been in professional practice for at least ten years, with some credit for certain degrees. Apply today!
 

Tech Update: Google Fiber brings free Internet to the poor

  Google Fiber has officially launched its initiative to provide free high speed Internet to thousands of low-income Americans who can't afford gigabit broadband. Already deployed across 10 major U.S. cities, Google Fiber continues to grow by building upon existing municipal fiber networks in San Francisco, California and Huntsville, Alabama.
