About Yang: Yang Song is a Research Staff Member in the IBM Almaden Research Center. His research interests include resource allocation, optimization, statistical analysis, and their applications in wireless networking, data center networks, IT management such as end-to-end I/O path optimization in virtualized environments. His current research focus includes 1. Big Data Analytics for Data Center Management, 2. Software Defined Data Center, 3. Resource Allocation, Placement, Optimization in Converged Data Center/SAN Infrastructure. Yang obtained his PhD from the University of Florida.
