Meet our next ambassador, Hüseyin Yapici !

Hüseyin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University and a Master’s degree from özyeğin University. His expertise spans mobile technologies, software architectures, IoT, and human-machine interaction. Currently, he serves as an iOS Team Leader in an R&D company, while also mentoring technology startups and engineering students.

With over a decade of involvement in IEEE, Hüseyin has held key leadership roles, including Chair of the IEEE Dokuz Eylül University Student Branch, founding Chair of Türkiye’s first IEEE Computer Society Congress, and Chair of IEEE Young Professionals Türkiye. He has been recognized globally with awards such as the IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship (2022), the IEEE Outstanding Branch Chapter Advisor Award (2021) and IEEE Computer Society Upsilon Pi Epsilon (2020).
