Building a conversation between the executives and the membership of IEEE is vital for its forward journey. It is always effective for any organization to have a transparent conversation and flow of information, throughout the hierarchy. This ensures that the journey undertaken by the organization and all of its members are one and the same. With this target in mind, IEEE Presidents Forum was established last year.
IEEE Presidents Forum 2019 will be hosted at the IEEE Region 3 flagship conference, IEEE SoutheastCON 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM CDT (UTC – 5) on 12th April 2019 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. This is a Town Hall type event which allows the participants to ask questions from the IEEE presidents and COO. All IEEE members around the globe can participate in this event since it will be broadcasted on IEEE.tv.
This year’s Presidents Forum will see the participation of José M. F. Moura (IEEE President & CEO 2019), Jim Jefferies (IEEE President & CEO 2018) and Stephen Welby (Executive Director, IEEE). You can make the best use of this opportunity by submitting your questions in real-time during the live stream. If you are unable to take part in the live stream, you can also submit your question beforehand through the website. The forum will be available on-demand after the event at IEEE.tv.
We are hoping that the platform that we created will build an effective conversation between the membership and executives and lead to changes that truly benefit the stakeholder.
