About Steven: Prof. Steven Latré is an assistant professor at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. He received a Master of Science degree in computer science from Ghent University, Belgium and a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from the same university. His research activity focuses on autonomous management and control of both networking and computing applications. His recent work has focused on Quality of Experience optimization and management, distributed control and network virtualization. He has also been involved in several national and European research projects (e.g., FP6 MUSE, FP7 ECODE, FP7 OCEAN, FP7 FLAMINGO). He is author or co-author of more than 45 papers published in international journals or in the proceedings of international conferences. He is in the program committee of several conferences and regular reviewer for conferences and journals in this field.
