    Summary

    We have had a continuing series on open source tools in our newsletter. In the past we have focussed on open source tools for a wide range of applications ranging from scientific computation and career development to commercialization. This post discusses several open-source tools in the domain of business intelligence and analytics. This is particularly relevant as a follow up to our previous article on commercialisation as these open source tools enable startups and small business to leverage these business insight and analytics tools to take their business to the next level with no need to reach for their wallets.
