Mohammed Hussein
Mohammed Hussein Saleh Mohammed Haram graduated from Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Following his graduation, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science at the same university while working as a Graduate Research Assistant. Currently, Mohammed is a consultant at Impact Consulting in Yemen.
His areas of interest include Renewable Energy, Energy Storage Systems, Power Generation, Electrical Installations, and Second Life EV Batteries. Mohammed has been an active member of IEEE since 2016. He is currently volunteering as the IEEE Young Professionals Events Funding Chair and the IEEE PES Region 8 Students and Young Professionals (SYP) Committee Chair.
Mohammed has published several research papers and received numerous awards for his projects and volunteer contributions. His recent recognitions include the IEEE Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship Award (2021), the IEEE Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Volunteer Award (2022), the IEEE MGA Young Professionals Achievement Award (2022), and the IEEE PES Outstanding Student Scholarship Award (2023).
