IEEE Climate and Sustainability Task Force Volunteer Lead/Chair for External Affairs

Currently a Ph.D. student in geography at the National University of Ireland, research focuses on global energy transition governance, specifically how energy innovation empowers local communities. Past experience includes contributing to the first global stocktake under the Paris Agreement while working with the UNFCCC secretariat. Present roles as the FAO Global Youth Policy Board for Asia-Pacific, and chairing the UNECE Young Working Group for Energy Systems. Contributions also extend to co-developing the WMO youth strategy and founding the Digital Ecology Lab at the BRICS IDEAS Center to advance sustainable development goals and integrate Indigenous knowledge into climate action.

Leadership roles include heading the IEEE Young Professionals Climate Task Force, fostering collaborations with organizations like IEA, IRENA, and SeForAll. As International Affairs Manager at WAGA, efforts are directed at addressing energy poverty in Africa through sustainable lithium-ion battery solutions. Engagements also include work with the Global Youth Security Council to address planetary risks.
