2025 IEEE Tropic Topic Tour
The 2025 IEEE Tropic IEEE TTT is a flagship event organized by the IEEE Colombian Caribbean section to connect and empower members of IEEE Student Branches.
1. Build Community and Foster Networking: Strengthen connections between IEEE
Student Branches in the Colombian Caribbean section, encouraging collaboration and
knowledge sharing among students and professionals.
2. Develop Skills: Equip participants with technical expertise and essential soft skills,
such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution, to prepare them
for future professional challenges.
3. Showcase Talent and Innovation: Provide a platform for students to present their best
projects, promoting innovation and recognizing their contributions within the IEEE
community.
4. Celebrate Transitions and Inspire Growth: Recognize recently graduated students for
their contributions to IEEE Student Branches, inspire them to transition into Young
Professionals, and encourage long-term involvement in IEEE.

9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | Welcome & Icebreaker Introduction, objectives, and networking activity.
9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Leadership and Teamwork Workshop Skill-building session on collaboration and communication.
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Coffee Break & Networking
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Conference Keynote Speaker (TBD) presenting on a relevant topic.
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Lunch Break
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Project Showcase Student branches present innovative projects, with the best project selected.
2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Technical Tutorial Hands-on session to enhance technical skills.
3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Coffee Break & Networking
4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Recognizing Transitions Honoring graduates and exploring Young Professional opportunities.
4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Closing Session "Engineers Showcasing Their Talents" – Featuring music, sports, and art performances.
