IEEE Atlanta YP at Georgia Tech ME2110 Design Competition
April 11 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
IEEE Atlanta Young Professionals is excited to support Georgia Tech’s flagship undergraduate design competition, ME2110, by serving as external judges at the Spring 2025 event.
Judges will engage with teams during the poster-style design review to evaluate the creativity, engineering rigor, and problem-solving approach of each project. It’s a rewarding chance to mentor students and influence the future of hands-on engineering education.
This semester’s theme is Minecraft, and it’s more than just blocks and pixels—student teams are building autonomous machines to battle the field as well as other teams. Expect plenty of action, rivalry, and creative chaos—making this competition not only a serious technical showcase but also an incredibly fun spectator event. It’s a sport of its own, where design, strategy, and mechanical prowess collide.
Whether you're an industry professional, past competitor, or simply enjoy clever machines and good competition, we’d love to have you involved.
