    Interdisciplinary research culture and collaborations can utilize the strength of skills of multiple disciplines to attack a problem. The problem-driven research approach has vast opportunities for the young engineering community.

    IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh is organizing a webinar titled “Exploring Research Opportunities on the Interface of Engineering and Biology amidst the Covid-19 Reality” to explore research opportunities for interdisciplinary research. The webinar is open for all Young Professionals. It is scheduled for 27th June 2020 from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM Bangladesh Time (GMT+6). The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to all registered participants.

    • Dr. Muhammad Ashraful Alam, Fellow of IEEE, Jai N. Gupta Professor of ECE, Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA
    • Dr. Firdausi Qadri, Senior Scientist, Head Mucosal Immunology and Vaccinology Unit, icddr,b; Lead, ideSHi
    • Dr. Mustak Ibn Ayub, Assistant Professor, Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Dhaka University

    Each speaker will give a short presentation of 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, we will have a panel discussion and Q &A session for 1 hour.
