The IEEE Victorian Section, in association with its Young Professionals affinity group, organized an industry networking night in August 2017 that included this panel discussion on the topic of “The future of work”. The wide ranging discussion addressed important issues like engineering jobs at risk in the next five years, technology areas of focus by 2025, adapting to the changes that automation is bringing to the industry, and how the IEEE community can support members to overcome those challenges.
