Industry roadmap: The future of work with IEEE Presidents (Video)

The IEEE Victorian Section, in association with its Young Professionals affinity group, organized an industry networking night in August 2017 that included this panel discussion on the topic of “The future of work”. The wide ranging discussion addressed important issues like engineering jobs at risk in the next five years, technology areas of focus by 2025, adapting to the changes that automation is bringing to the industry, and how the IEEE community can support members to overcome those challenges.



The panel features IEEE President Ms. Karen Bartleson, Past President Prof. Barry Shoop, President Elect Jim Jefferies, Industry Chair, Dr. Dejan Milojicic, IBM Master Inventor Mukesh Mohania, President of Engineers Australia (Victorian Division) Chris Stoltz and John Rowland,Managing Director and Co-Owner of Unico Computer Systems.

A very rare panel with so many high profiled speakers!

The panel is chaired by IEEE Victorian Section Chair and IEEE Industry Engagement Board Member, Eddie Custovic.
