With “STEMpowered Leadership” as this year’s theme, the WIE ILS Toronto 2018 aimed to inspire young women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields through two days of engaging presentations, panels, and workshops. Objectives of this summit were aligned with the vision of the IEEE WIE initiative, which is to support and empower women in STEM around the world by providing opportunities for networking, mentorship, and collaboration.

During the summit, there were tracks focussed on leadership, future technologies, entrepreneurship, empowerment, and innovation complemented by keynote speakers and specialized panel discussions.
