Prasanth Mohan is a Computer Science Graduate from Anna University, Chennai. He has been associated with IEEE and IEEE Computer Society for the past 5 years. Prasanth serves as Public Relation Lead for the IEEE’s Largest Programming Competition IEEEXtreme and IEEEmadC (Mobile Application Development Contest) where he manages more than 400+ student leaders globally through Student Ambassadors Program.
Prasanth has visited more than 120+ Engineering Institutions across India delivering talks on IEEE, handling workshop and seminars on Robotics. He is a recipient of IEEE Computer Society’s – Richard E Merwin Scholarship and IEEE’s – Larry K Wilson Student Volunteer Award (Special Mention).
In his day job, he works with REDD Robotics as Associate Engineer where he manages 3Ding (www.3Ding.in). The organisation is involved in manufacturing, supplying and trading of 3D Printers and other requirements related to the field of 3D Printing. Previous to his work with REDD Robotics, He is associated with SP Robotic Works where he trained more than 6000+ Pre-University students through Kidobotikz Training Initiative. He enjoys interacting with student community and motivating young students.
